At North Idaho Mercantile, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to make a return, please review our policy below.
Return Eligibility
- We accept returns within 30 days of the order delivery date.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in good condition to qualify for a refund or exchange.
- Non-refundable items:
- Clearance items
- Custom orders
- Perishable items
- Gift Cards
- Some Health or Personal Care Items
Return Process & Shipping Costs
- Submit a Return Request:
- Complete the online return form on our Contact Page.
- Include your order number and a brief reason for the return.
- Return Approval & Instructions:
- Once your request is approved, we will provide return instructions. Please do not return items without prior approval.

- Refunds & Restocking Fees:
- Returns for store credit or exchange have no restocking fee (minus shipping costs).
- Returns for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after receiving the returned item.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
- If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately via our Contact Page.
- We will require photos of the damaged item to process a claim.
- In some cases, we may opt to send a replacement rather than require a return of the damaged item.
