Shipping Policy

North Idaho Mercantile is committed to providing you with a smooth and reliable shipping experience. Please review our shipping policy below.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Shipping Carriers & Methods

We primarily use USPS Priority Mail and UPS for shipping. At our discretion, we may use other carriers depending on rates and availability. Currently, we only offer standard shipping; expedited shipping options may be added later. Some of our products ship directly from our suppliers and may ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

Dropship Pending – Order Status

The “Dropship Pending” order status is the same as “Processing” and refers to product that ships directly from our supplier like our cornhole boards. Once this order is processed, the status will change to “Completed” and will typically be accompanied by shipping information shortly after.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on a flat rate per item type. Free shipping may be available for certain items if/as indicated.

Shipping Refund on Overages

Occasionally, we’re able to save on shipping when multiple items are purchased at once or if a specific region has a lower rate than what is calculated at checkout. If we’re able to save on shipping, we will issue a partial refund for the difference when processing your order. This partial refund is at our discretion.

Processing & Handling Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days (excluding holidays). Custom orders may require additional processing time. If there is a delay, we will notify you via email.

Estimated Delivery Time

Orders that are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS typically take 1-5 business days depending on the destination. Delivery times may vary during peak holiday seasons or due to carrier delays.

Tracking & Order Updates

You will receive an email with tracking information when your order ships. If you have an account, you can also track your order through your North Idaho Mercantile account. When your order status changes from “Processing” or “Dropship Pending” to “Complete,” an automated email will be sent with shipping details.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost or stolen, please first contact USPS or UPS with your tracking information. If they are unable to resolve the issue, contact us for assistance.

If your order arrives damaged, contact us immediately with photos of the damaged item and packaging so we can file a claim and arrange a replacement.

Local Pickup (Coeur d’Alene, ID)

Many of our products are stocked locally in Coeur d’Alene, ID. If you are local and would like to pick up your order in CDA and save on shipping, please contact us before ordering at hello@northidahomercantile.com and we’ll set you up with a “Free Shipping” coupon. Our current pickup location is at Giant Donut Marketing at 1625 N 4th St (Ste 204) in CDA. We’ll provide you with easy instructions if you choose this option.

Cornhole boards and related accessories aren’t stocked locally, so are not currently available for local pickup.
